Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. Here is how qrfox handles information when you use our free QR code generator.

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. Overview

qrfox is designed with privacy in mind. The QR codes you create are generated entirely in your browser — the content you enter (URLs, text, WiFi details, contact information) is not uploaded to our servers or stored by us.

2. Information we do not collect

We do not require an account to use qrfox. We do not collect, store, or have access to the data you encode into your QR codes. Logo images you upload for customization are processed locally in your browser and are not sent to us.

3. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors interact with our website — for example, which pages are visited and how users navigate the site. This helps us improve qrfox.

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as your IP address (which may be anonymized depending on your region), browser type, device type, pages viewed, and approximate geographic location. This data is transmitted to and processed by Google in accordance with Google's privacy policies.

You can learn more about how Google uses data at Google's Privacy Policy. You may opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by adjusting your browser cookie settings.

4. Cookies

In addition to analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, qrfox may use essential cookies required for the website to function properly. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain site functionality.

5. Local storage

qrfox may store preferences locally in your browser (for example, recent customization settings) to improve your experience. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

6. Third-party links

QR codes you create may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any website you link to or visit.

7. Children's privacy

qrfox is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
